Pereira Design is a Sydney-based architecture practice established in 2017. The practice is led by Jonathan Pereira and specialises in residential architecture.

Design Approach

We employ a considered design approach for each of our projects and work closely with our clients. We drive ideas in response to the design brief and each site's unique environment and context, to deliver thoughtful and purposeful spaces.

We believe that design is about contribution. We strive to shape spaces that bring more joy, more comfort and enrichment to every day life.

Jon Pereira

Director

Jon is a registered architect, design practitioner and developer, uniting design and construction stage expertise with financial acumen. With a strong sense of architectural design and a wide understanding of the processes involved to deliver a project, he is considered a well-rounded architect that can see a project through from concept to completion.

Graduating with honours from the University of Technology Sydney (B Arch), Jonathan has over 20 years architectural experience working at top tier firms such as SJB Architects, Lendlease and Leighton Contractors. He has delivered projects across a range of sectors comprising luxury dwellings, multi-residential, childcare, commercial and health institutions.

In addition to establishing the architecture practice, Jonathan founded development firm Fortis Properties Australia in 2015 and has since developed properties and provided architecture services for each project. He is proficient in the area of design management and has a keen eye for details, particularly during design delivery and on-site during the construction phase, ensuring quality and robustness. As well as this, he provides disciplined financial management during the design phase and looks to add value to each project.

Ally Pereira

Senior Designer

Ally graduated from the University of Sydney (B Arch) and has 15 years of architectural and project management experience. She has delivered projects across a range of sectors comprising multi-residential, seniors living, luxury dwellings and education facilities.

She has a thoughtful and considered approach to design, always striving for a clear, elegant and functional composition of space, material and light. She finds inspiration in the unique opportunities of each site and design brief and is able to draw out the potential in each project.

She has a depth of experience working with clients from feasibility and concept design stage through to contract tendering. Each project benefits from her efficient project management skills and strong grasp of planning instruments.
